| I'm excited to announce that on October 19th, 2008, Neal and I were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Wayside Chapel in Palos Park. Analisa was our Flower Girl. Maids of Honor were my sisters Pam & Janet, Best Man was Neal's brother Jeff. Tommy & Katie Ryan were our Junior Groomsman & Junior Bridesmaid. Anybody that knows about my rainbows will appreciate this...on my way to the chapel, Neal called me and said that they got out of the car at the chapel and they gasped as they looked into the sky and saw a rainbow around the sun! Another one of my signs...this was truly meant to be!
All the dresses, vests, ties & flowers were hand made. Check out the pictures of our special day!

Kim’s love of fashion design and dressmaking began when she was a little girl. At a very young age, her mom taught her to make hand sewn dresses for her dolls - at the age of 10 she moved on to her mom’s sewing machine and began to make some of her own clothes. At 15, she designed and sewed her own prom gown, surprising everyone with the results. She has been doing custom sewing for people since 1987. Some of her bridal gowns have taken first place at the Illinois State Fair. In 2001, she had the opportunity to sew for the group "N’SYNC" when they were in town, helping to prepare their outfits for the show. In 2004, she was asked to create costumes for the movie "Rollbounce" that was filmed here in Chicago.
Whether it's a christening gown, bridal gown, purse or a pair of earrings, Kim pays attention to every detail making the finished product something to be proud of.
The driving force for Kim has been her daughter, Analisa. Kim always dreamed of being a mom, and was finally blessed when she brought home her little angel from Guatemala in 2002. She is inspired by Analisa's smiles, hugs and kisses, reinforcing to Kim that she made the right decision, leaving her office job to pursue her sewing full time.
Kim's family has also been a Godsend helping in any way they can. She says that she owes so much to them, without their love and support, she would never have been able to pursue her dream.
